"Stacy has been an invaluable help to me during my labor which lasted about 34 hours. She came over to our house at the right time when I needed her and had me cope with the painful contractions through exercise and massage. She had me try out various laboring positions which I couldn't have done by myself (both hubby and I were nervous and forgot everything taught at the Lamaze class!!). At the hospital she stayed with me all night and a few hours after the delivery after we had settled down. She was very supportive and helped voice my opinions to the hospital staff. She was also kind enough to check on me a few days after the birth and answer questions on breastfeeding. She is a very thoughtful persona nd I felt very comfortable sharing my hopes and fears with her.
My husband and I are immensely grateful for her support all through the delivery and recommend that every expecting mom have a doula like Stacy."

first baby, you are about to have the time of your
life:) You would be looking forward to the big day
and I hope you will have all the energy, help and
support that you need. I have a month old baby now.
I had Stacy as my doula and honestly, this is one
of the best decisions I ever made in my life. Stacy
made a huuuuge difference and was a great value
during my pregnancy, labor, delivery and
postpartum (even now!). I had a 53 hour labor.
The only reason I look back at it and feel happy
was because of the difference Stacy made. Because
of her presence, guidance and support me and my
husband were able to handle the day very well and
it was the main reason I had the birth the way I
wanted it. No medication, in fact since Stacy
supported me so well, I didn’t even ask for
medication even once during my labor. She knew
exactly what to do and when to do it. I can’t
imagine going through that without Stacy. I
could write on and on about her... I am keeping
it short coz I have to return to my baby in a few
minutes. Stacy understood me and what I wanted
very clearly, from the beginning which helped her

Stacy attended the birth of my son in June of 2009. My husband and I were so impressed with her services and would insisit on having her present during the birth of future children. Stacy met with us before hand and helped us to develop a birth plan that covered our wishes and helped prepare us for the birthing process. During my labor Stacy was an amazing support to both of us. Stacy's calm presence and reassuring words helped me to feel comfortable (and her foot rubs were amazing). My husband, benefited from Stacy's kinds words and support. Having her there allowed us to work as a team and to focus on each other and the amazing birth process. Stacy served as a liason between us and the hospital staff and helped me to remember my wishes when faced with difficult decisions. After the birth, Stacy was a wealth of information about infant care and breast feeding. I would highly recommend Stacy as a doula for your birth.

We hired Stacy to help with the birth of our first baby in June 2009. We debated for a long time if we wanted to hire a doula and asked around for recommendations. Stacy was recommended by multiple people and after meeting with her we felt very comfortable and decided to ask her to be a part of our big day. In the end, we couldn't have been more satisfied. She was absolutely wonderful during our pre-meetings and took the time to find out what we wanted from the birth experience. Words truly cannot describe how crucial she was during the birth. I had terrible back labor and I know that my husband and I couldn't have made it through the day without her coaching, positioning, and massaging. If we decide to have a second baby Stacy will be right next to us the whole time, no matter what. I would recommend her to everyone I know.
